About Our Company
Southwind Surveying and Engineering, Inc. has its roots in Ragsdale Consultants, which originated in 1947 and served Johnston County and surrounding areas. Linwood Jones was an owner in Ragsdale Consultants and founded Southern Surveying and Mapping, Inc. in 1991. The name was changed to Southwind Surveying and Engineering, Inc in 1995, when the company expanded to provide engineering services. Southwind Surveying and Engineering, Inc. is located in Johnston County at the I-40/NC42 interchange, at 201 Glen Road, Garner NC 27529 and in Hampstead, at 329 Hampstead Village, Hampstead, NC 28443.
