Welcome to Southwind Surveying and Engineering
Southwind is fully equipped with the latest equipment and technology. All engineering and survey drawings are CADD generated through a computer network connected to a master file server. Our field crews are equipped with four-wheel drive suburbans, total-station theodolites, and hand held computers. Southwind also owns and operates one survey grade GPS surveying station, one submeter GPS surveying station, and five robotic total surveying stations with state of the art technology and accuracy. The Engineering Department uses the latest computer software to assist in design of streets, water and wastewater systems, storm drainage facilities, and storm water management facilities.
